the olympia tea room

I was recently asked to do some photography for the Olympia Tea Room in Watch Hill, RI.  Their food is local, organic, and just plain delicious.  I’ve always loved the feel of the restaurant, it has a rustic, european cafe feeling and is decorated with (owner) Marcia Felber’s fantastic (in every sense of the word) oil paintings.  Thanks so much Marcia, Jack, and Georgia for inviting me to document your beautiful restaurant.

connie & ming: 7/10/10

Connie and Ming were married on a Caribbean cruise earlier in the summer, but really wanted to celebrate with friends and family back in Boston.  As usual, Amanda came along for the day and rocked the photobooth, but we also had  the super talented Kevin Trimmer come along and shoot with us.  Thanks so much Connie and Ming for inviting us to document your day.

connie & ming’s photobooth

The photobooth works best with groups of lively wedding guests, and these guys were just that (and more). Thanks so much Connie and Ming for having us document your wedding, and watch for the full wedding post very soon.

the kids in the park

well, they were in the park that day anyway.  Earlier this summer, we carried our purple couch from the studio across the road to the park to shoot some photos of family and friends.   Here are a few personal favorites.

Detroit Ft. Wayne Airport

has a beautiful fountain…..and nice planes.  I happened on this scene during a layover in Detroit on the way home from a wedding in North Carolina.
